Disc Golf and a Few Surprises at Niagara Springs

We recently spent an afternoon playing disc golf at Niagara Springs, one of the places our family loves to visit near Wendell.

It’s a wonderful 18-hole course, but plan on more than a quick round. The holes are spread out, and some of the shots take a little thought. We’d allow about an hour and a half to two hours to play the whole course. Caleb enjoyed working his way through the more technical shots, and the rest of us enjoyed being outside together.

You don’t have to play disc golf to have a good time here. It’s also a beautiful place to walk your dogs, take in the scenery, and see what wildlife you might spot. We even came across a little snake on this visit!

The park gate was closed for the season when we went, but we were still able to enjoy the disc golf course and walk the grounds. Check current access information before your trip, especially outside the summer season.

We also spent some time by the incredibly clear water, but that adventure deserves a post of its own. For now, if you’re staying with us at Wendell RV & Park, bring your discs, your walking shoes, and a little extra time to enjoy Niagara Springs.
